yesterday
i made punta to the birthday party of my high school friend who is
currently making aral sa ust ngayon. syempre im not gonna go na sana
kasi puro mga friends nya from ust yung nandun, ede im gonna be put out
of place lang from their uber mediocre culture,
pero sumama na rin ako out of shame para sa friend kong magtatampo raw
sakin if hindi ako pumunta. besides, birthday naman nya so i made bigay
na. and sabi nung isa pa naming high school barkada, she’s gonna go rin
daw so may kasama naman ako. eh fuck, hindi nagpunta. so ayun, na-op
rin ako sa mga super mediocre na thomasians, at kinailangan ko talagang
magtiis sa sobrang tangang kultura ng mga hampaslupa.

since napag-usapan na rin lang natin ang mga thomasians sa previous blog post ko, i remembered tuloy the time when (confetti made of recycled manila paper) ust finally won the championship against (fireworks imported from hawaii and a red carpet from hollywood) ateneo, may isa na naman akong high
school friend galing sa eww so mabahong uste na nagyabang sakin tungkol sa championship nilang mga chuapero.
habang pinag-ayos ko ng kama yung muchacha naming graduate ng nursing sa ust kasi
matutulog na ko nun, may tatak pa man din ng ateneo yung bedsheet ko
pati yung mga pillows, nagtext yung high school friend ko. knowing na
sa ateneo ako nag-aaral, i mean.. sa batch kasi namin ng about 100
people, ako lang ang nakapasa ng ateneo, yung anim sa eww-so-mabaho-rin na up, yung iba sa ust, yung iba sa skwelahan ng mga berdeng baka na may beri-beri pa yata kaya
naninilaw yung isang gilid (feu yata yung name ng school, di ko kilala eh),
tas yung iba sa mga pipichuging schools na lang from all around the
corner, ako lang *ahem* ako lang ang kapasa ng ateneo. and that happens
in real life (duh, nangyari na nga sakin eh). out of about 100 high
school graduates, isa lang sa kanila ang nakakapasa ng ateneo. pag
bumagsak, dun sila sa mga less competent schools.
so
anyway, knowing na ako nga lang sa batch namin ang nakapag-aral sa
ateneo, he texted me. he was making asar to me daw na nanalo sila. of
course, on my part, ang yabang ng dating nya. but then i realized,
thomasian to, nagpapapansin lang, naghahanap lang ng dahilan para itext
ng isang atenistang katulad ko para i-adore nya for the rest of his
life at i-save sa inbox ng cellphone nyang dadalhin nya sa loob ng
kabaong nya until death, at hindi nya pa rin buburahin yung reply ko
till then kasi nga pagdating daw sa gate of heaven hahanapan ka raw ni
san pedro ng isang text message from an atenean (imagine that, sa sobrang taas ng quality of education namin, pati heaven narating?). so ayun, instead of making galit to him, i told him na lang, "haha. congrats."
i
mean, we ateneans are really good when it comes to practicing
sportsmanship. so ayun, instead of making puna his obvious na
kayabangan about the championship, i accepted our defeat as a real man,
as a real *ahem* atenean. but then of course friend ko naman yun kaya i
also made biro to him. so sabi ko, "if i know, chamba lang yun."
and
do you know what he replied to me?! this is.. oh my god, so against the
fourth commandment of the lord our god! sabi ba naman nya, "god is a
thomasian." imagine, he used the name of the lord our god in vain! i
mean, kilala pa man rin daw sila as the oldest catholic university in
asia ? sobrang bad talaga ng values education sa ust.with the pontifical chuchu whatever pa that they make attach to the university’s name if you’d check out their kulay dilaw-na-taeng website? *spit*

sobra na talaga yun. god is a thomasian?! that’s the biggest insult
i’ve ever heard. papayag ka ba naman na ang god pala na sinasamba natin
as the all-knowing almighty father, our only source of wisdom, ay isang pipichuging tomasino lang na hindi nakapasa ng acet? my golly, sobra na talaga.

the “baby talk” or saying somke cheesy lines I’ll go.. yuck corny.. and then now I see myself doing that.. pero msaya kc
when u’re inlove you just don’t care about what others think about you both..,

Since I was a kid I never thought
of being inlove in the future.. so I didn’t actually have the perception or
qualifications of a boyfriend I wanted to have.. until I was third year
highschool.. I saw a boy.. he was my classmate.. since then I knew I liked
him.. unintentionally we became groupmates.. ansaya.. lalu na when I was chosen
as the leader.. and as a perk I hd the
opportunity to pick kung sino gusto qng assistant.. shempre I chose him para we
could “work together..” ^.^ I always tried to sit beside him and make him
notice me.. pero he seemed so distant kya I knew he didn’t like me.. as far as
I can remember he would always sit at the last chair near the window where he
would always stare.. feeling q ndi xa nakking kc if he’s not staring out the
window nagdodrawing lang xa sa notebook..
Fourthyear came ndi na kame
mgclassmate.. some time in September that year I got his number from a friend..
and thought about it the whole day if I should text him or not.. then I texted
him.. we became friends and our friendship went into something else.. there was
this connection between us na I can’t explain.. basta sobrng saya.. it was the
first time I ever felt that way in my entire life.. unusual pero everytime I
see him I can see my future with him. My world litteraly revolved around him..
thenm something happened and it all ended… parang asa heaven lang then in just
a snap I fell into the ground.. [waha ilang feet un?!] it actually hurted like
hell.. I developed insomnia cause I can barely sleep.. at that time I didn’t
actually cared about anything more han him.. super disappointed with myself I
didn’t know what to do.. buti nlang andun c flrence..
When I entered college antaba q.. it’s true na when
grls are depressed they eat their hearts out.. pg sad aq nahanap lng aq ng fud
then I’m fine.. years passed and there was no communication between us.. pag
naaalala q xa I look into the stars and think of what we could have been..
blame my self tapos kaen.. [haha.]
I thought of asking signs ung
tipong my lines na.. “Lord qng xa tlga please give me this signs tomorrow..”
then ieenumerate q ung signs.. laughed after.. stupid little me.. I immediately
forgot about the signs kc I thought I was just fooling myself believing we
would ever be.. and surprisingly I saw the signs I was asking for.. masaya pero
parang ayoqng maniwla.. tapos I prayed ulet.. sbe q.. “Lord seryoso k??” and
asked for another signs kc baka nagkataon lang.. wla nanf deadline.. taz isa
nlang.. isa nlang tlga.. take your time.. [parang tropa lan e nu.] pero he gave
me the sign again.. it really fascinated me na pngsabe ko talaga.. I remember
telling a friend and she told me.. “nku jean imagination mu lang yan..” pero I
believed in it.. I just didn’t know how it could possibly happen..
On my 17th birthday
one of my wishes was that I could be happy in the state of things as they
already were.. mtgaltgal nrin kc.. taz the day after my birthday.. I received a
text form him.. I thought of it ten times bgo q ngreply.. and suddenly felt the
same feelings I felt for him before.. shocks. I really never believed in
destiny nor second chances till he came.. [wazap. Haha. Corny q.]
Now.. I’m so damn happy.. believe it or not I have never been this happy before.. I’m soo happy I
can’t remove the smile I unconsciously project.. he is not perfect.. but he loves
me and me makes me sooo happy. Ngayon lng tlga q nagging masaya ng walang
pretentions.. wlang regrets.. masaya ko kc masaya ko ng totoo.. hindi dahil
masaya ko kc kelangan kong ipilit nay un ung maramdaman ko.. masya q ng sobra
at totoo un.. masya qng mahal na mahal q xa at mahal nya rin ako.. prang hindi
talaga totoo.. its kinda hard to believe na I’m with someone who makes me lough
my loudest, smile my widest and happy sooo bigtime..
Alam ko pag ndi ako mahal ng
isang tao.. alam ko pag nakikipaglokohan lang. pero hindi ko alam kung bakit
ayaw maniwala ng isip q na may lalake pa sa ngayon na kayang magmahal ng totoo..
pero sigurado prin aq na mahal nia q.. when he looks into my eyes.. he’s like
looking at a goddess.. [jowklang ang part na un. Haha] he looks at me so different..
basta iba.. so new to me.. no one ever looked at me that way before… grabe I’m so
happy. I really want this post to turn out hilarious.. I mean kinda funny, kinda
lite, not so baduy.. pro what cn I do? Haha.
I want to keep him.. I want him to
stay.. I want this thing between us to last..
